Skinner Pool & Construction was started by Ryan Skinner and his wife — a husband-and-wife business that grew out of the construction trade and into building the kind of backyards people actually use.
That shows up in how the work runs. Ryan is on the projects. The same company that designs your pool pours the deck, raises the pergola and wires the lighting, so there is one person to talk to and one set of standards from the first walkthrough to the final handover.
We build for homeowners across North Houston and Montgomery County — Montgomery, Conroe, The Woodlands, Lake Conroe and Spring — and almost everything we do is custom gunite, drawn for the lot it goes into.

We come out, look at the yard, and talk through how you want to use the space — where the sun lands, where people sit, what has to stay.

Design and proposal
You see the pool, the deck and the structures together as one design, with a written scope, before anything is built.

Build
Excavation, steel, plumbing, gunite, tile, coping, decking and the surrounding structures — run by the same company start to finish.

Finish and hand over
Surface finish, equipment start-up, and a walkthrough of how to run and look after the pool before we leave.
